So same as 2 years ago. Categorize all illnesses as covid even though it's not, force a stay at home for an illness that's 97% survivable and close down the economy so government gets to play with the new omnibus bill they passed and really screw with the economy. I just saw a report saying that the flu numbers were stabilizing, so it should just be a "doubledemic" now. We didn't get to a quint-plague burger with cheese this time around and the climax of all of this was pretty flat. I expected to see footage of people in Santa hats dying on the table while All I Want for Christmas is You plays in the background. Christmas 2022 was boring and it sucked.

Anyone notice how many of these health care workers faces are buried in computers?
As a recently retired critical care nurse, I can state that FAR too much time is spent with repetitive computer documentation rather than direct patient care.
As health care becomes more complex this unnecessary burden will increase for nurses as well as other health care professionals and will lead to less time at the bedside.
