It’s very doubtful that the case will be moved to federal court. The federal law pertains to a government official being charge by a state jurisdiction during the course of his/hers official duties. For example, an FBI agent serving an arrest warrant to a KKK member and a fight breaks out. The local county sheriff charges the FBI agent with assault. Moving to federal court allows the small local county jury pool to include jurors from outside the small rural county. The trial will still go on under state laws with state prosecutors, but with a federal judge presiding and a wider jury pool.
