This makes no sense. They’re criticizing Biden for being too provocative, but on the other side of their mouth, they’re criticizing Biden and suggesting he’s in the Chinese pocket. You literally can’t have both of these things at the same time. This makes me think they’re just trying to say anything negative. He wouldn’t be increasing sanctions if he was in the Chinese pocket. Why do you think all these senior officials (Blinken, Kerry, Yellen and Raimondo) were streaming into China in the last 3 months? Do they all want a taste of Chinese mushrooms? Clearly, US is rapidly approaching a debt default crisis as trillion of dollars of government bonds are about to roll over at a much higher interest rate. US debt servicing has already surpassed one third of its tax revenue. How much longer do you think it can sustain?
Europe and Japan are facing a recession and they are not in a position to help. China is US remaining big buyer. And China is reducing their purchases because of sanctions. So US is playing the good cop bad cop game. Biden is the bad cop issuing executive orders to curb Chinese economy growth while his lieutenants were flocking to China ‘begging’.
