A world record-setting 92,003 fans packed out the Nebraska Cornhuskers stadium in Lincoln for Volleyball Day, becoming the largest crowd in attendance for a women’s sporting event. NBC News’ Jesse Kirsch reports.

If people would actually watch and flock to all womens sports like what happened to this game then surely no one will ever talk about that HUGE PAY GAP between men and women sports.

Many of my friends and family were there. Drone light show, fireworks, all round great experience. Many drove across the state to make it.
I think it is funny that Nebraska football has been playing in Memorial Stadium for a 100 years and that Women’s Volleyball team shows up one night and packs in more people than the football team ever did.

I love volleyball too, but Nebraska has a habit of buying up empty seats to “sell out” the stadium.
But not paid attendance. Let that be clear. It IS NOT 92k paid attendees.
