China is helping you achieve your goal regarding the chip , you will find that china don't need your chip very soon, they can produce everything themself and with cheap price.. take a look that Huawei Mate 60 cellphone which was just announced two days ago, they produced 5G chips themself in China few years later after the sanction, you just help to build the whole Chinese chip industry , before Chip war, they think they can buy chip instead of producing themself. you think it takes hundred year for Chinese to rebuild chip supply chain?

When the US stops appointing millionaires and billionaires as commerce secretary, we might see a more holistic economic growth strategy, rather than the same short-term gains that benefit shareholders and venture capitalists (like Raimondo), that led us to a situation where domestic manufacturing has been decimated.
