Something is wrong with planes, maybe not getting the maintenance there supposed to as frequent as they should, I’ve seen lots of flights canceled do to “technical problems” and it it’s disrespectful letting people in airports with no other options, after we costumers plan our vacations with the money and days that we have. Lots of people go to see there family and just have a few days. Its just not fair.

My girlfriend was on that flight, I was terrified when I heard from her but one thing she said, it actually made her more relaxed than scared, knowing that this happened and the plane barely moved and was able to land safely. But apparently the explosion was pretty loud and everyone turned that direction but nobody panicked there and the flight attendants told them everything was fine XD captain didn't speak to them until they were landing like 15min later

Delta crashed because of a Downburst on their Lockheed L-1011 in 1985 FLL to DFW and another delta emergency was A person attempted to detonate an explosive device from AMS to DTW and another incident was from Tokyo to Minneapolis because Delta upper 747 tail got stuck. They landed in Alaska. I’m not going to Fly Delta they’re not safe at all +3 different times. I flew them the past 10 years the airline has emergency problems and that not all are very rude

This is an incomplete news report. It didn’t tell us the type of aircraft, and the terminology used was that of an amateur. Planes are not dragged. They are towed. There are other defects in her reporting, but frankly, I’ve said enough.

Amazing how the media can create a story where none exists by taking advantage of the ignorance of the general public on a topic and sensationalizing the situation by preying on common fears. Modern aircraft have long been able to safely fly on one engine. Pilots train a great deal to deal with these types of situations. Nobody was in any real danger whatsoever. These people were in more danger on their drive to the airport, and that’s no joke or exaggeration.
