I don't understand #1 how he diagnosed himself with a stomach bleed, and #2 why he looks so normal and isn't doubled over or at least sitting or laying down feeling like crap. Slow chronic bleeding is one thing but an acute stomach bleed is a different presentation.

Every time this happens I wonder why. When it's children, like in Thailand, I understand everyone goes in. But when an adult is caught like this, they never have a back-up team on-site. Why not? Rescuers have to come in from all over, and they'll risk their lives. Just like the Titan submersible. Why don't these people have contingency plans?
Those medical supplies could of gone to a drunk driver victim or someone else who needs. Instead it goes to people who put themselves in harms way for nothing.
