I've always belive this point. If i was born in France i would not be French. It doesn't work that way. Only here we call them anchor babies and have done so since the late 80's. I agree with Vivek. I live on the US Mexico border, and know 1st hand how TONS of people come to the US to have babies. I personally know at least 5 families who live in Mexico and come to the US when the woman is giving birth, just to have the baby here.. then go home to Mexico.. most juse drive across.. have a baby.. and then go home to Mexico… then they pay someone to use their address.. and apply for welfare.. if the parents work in the US.. they also do tax fraud, using ITIN numbers they buy from people they know.. its a HUGE scam.. and they milk us.. not even living in the country
