25:00 Let me put on my ECON 101 hat and give Hallie the truth. Inflation was never going down. Because of the way the government reports inflation they gave the public false hope. The reports mix the cost of luxury items with core essentials that your society needs to live. After the stimulus money the government injected into the economy wore off, the cost of luxury items began to lower and demand faded as the public ran out of free money. The slowing down of inflation was actually a sign of disappearing disposal income that was spent on those luxory items, and when averaged in with the essentials gave the impression that rate hikes were working. Now that those products have essentially bottomed out, real inflation is showing because the cost of neccesity items is increasing at a greater rate than luxory items can fall. The truth is the Feds have done nothing and your entire monetary system is on the verge of collapse. So says the King…
17:00 Here's a vibe for the platform. The people in that room are all for show, as they've managed to convince the public the version of "A.I." they are deploying requires some sort of regulation. Their platforms have no real intelligence, and they are simply using A.I. As a buzz word to garner investment for a technology they've been deploying for almost a decade with no societal impact. "A.I.," as they are calling it, is a rebranding of machine learning, enabling a bunch of new investment in-flow, as the entire valley has failed to come up with the "next big thing." The only reason Senators really care is because they understand the macro economic risks involved with the collapse of Silicon Valley. They do put on a good show, but their technology has the intelligence level of a Roomba constantly running into walls as it vacuums the floor. After the rebranding of machine learning to A.I., they then had to redefine what real A.I. Is by calling it A.G.I., a term you probably never heard of before they needed it. I do love the entertainment factor, but the King and Queen are here.
