UAW workers are in my humble opinion…greedy. When the average UAW worker earns $67 per hour, is demandind more pay, a 32 hour work week, and builds overpriced, inferior quality vehicles compared to their foreign counterparts, I say stop your sniveling and greed, build better vehicles that are affordable. Then perhaps you will garner sympathy and empathy from myself and other hardworking individuals.
Also, how on Earth are UAW workers NOT able to afford the cost of living in the midwest when even two people in the household are working? Get rid of your gas guzzling vehicles, your recreational boat(s), and your exuberant and extravagant lifestyle.
People shouldn't have to pay tip on top of delivery and convenience fees, I don't get it.

I thought cars were imported now . I drive a 2000 Toyota le four door great on gas too but if I could afford any new or used car at this point it would be Amarican made GMC Dodge or Ford pickup but US auto makers do not have any new used truck I can really afford at this time. However I have recently bought two 2000 models a Dodge pickup and 2000 GMC extended cabs with the four doors nice trucks I paid $1000 for the Dodge and $1500 for the GMC transmission went out on one and the other spun a main bearing ball game but the investment was definitely worth it . They both paid for themselves ten times or better before they quit . American Fan of American made !

Folks don't seem to take into account the variety of local folks here in Hawaii and how each cultural group is dealing with the Maui disaster. Overall, for the most part, from what I'm hearing and seeing, each cultural group has its own opinion on how to proceed.
The Hawaiians don't want to reopen. They want their land back. They want the island to stay closed for now. The Filipinos, mostly employed through the hotels, of course they want to open up to tourists. The Caucasians are more concerned with completing investigations and cleaning up (the area smells horrible). They have mixed feelings about reopening. The other cultures, like Japanese and Chinese, are hesitant about expressing an opinion about any of it.
