  1. A very sad turn of events. May God bring healing.

  2. What hypocrites are The Duggar parents. They will not comment on a public forum but yet they paraded their family on TV for over a decade????????? I'm am sorry but it is Josh they should have nothing to do with, not their poor daughters he molested.

  3. I want to know how JB was "honoring Christ" when he lied under oath.

  4. The show .. gave me bad vibes I never watched one episode.

  5. Took me a couple nights to read and finish the book. It was a page turner. A great read. Such a lovely couple and so glad they are independent and live freely in their own way. God bless them and their 3 sons.

  6. Why does everyone write a book ? It was horrible we understand but making money off a horrible experience is sad

  7. A serious problem with this type of hyper-conservative upbringing is that the parents become co-rulers with God in that religious expectation. The parents are always considered right because being a parent automatically puts you in a position of authority that cannot be questioned or criticized because that would be considered "dishonoring the parents" or blatant disobedience from the children. The parents are taught through religion that what they say goes, so they never take any responsibility for wrongdoing towards their children. These types of parents would demand apologies and confessions from their children without ever offering anything of the kind in return since admitting you were wrong would also be an admission of not always being in control. High demand, high control, all under the guise of raising modest obedient pliable children for "God". There is very little room for personal growth or understanding until you come out from underneath such cultish behavior. I remember when I realized my parents weren't perfect and I could still honor them without completely agreeing with them, that I could ask questions and come to my own conclusions about my beliefs, and that following authority had nothing to do with blind obedience. That I could be a good moral person without feeling ashamed of myself. That I could believe in a God that loved me for who I was without succumbing to crippling anxiety from unattainable expectations was possible. That I had bodily autonomy and that being controlled wasn't right. It's an incredibly difficult but liberating thing to come out of.

  8. JOSH WAS IN THE ROOM DURING THE FOX INTERVIEW.

  9. Jill needs an attitude adjustment!!!

  10. I would say that family was a sickness but it was actually a cult.

  11. Jill has been the most inspiring child of this family. Thank God she married an educated man. He is the most impressive husband of all the girls.

  13. Best book ever!! So much tea is spilled. She had a horrible, abuse life and she came through it so much stronger. I hope she makes so much money that Rim Job's head pops off 😂

  14. She’s sooo honest in saying he reached out to Josh and I’m so happy she was honest. I can see JimBob turning around and using that against her.

  15. I don’t even have time to read her book because I have two babies, but I bought it. Mostly in support of Jill and Derrick. So proud of them.

  16. Dear lovely Jill wasn’t your responsibility to do damage control for your family or dads reality show. Religion is a bad business for women. The saddest part is the part that she says “you’re treating me worse than my brother”. That oppression I’m glad both her and her husband are out. Respect each other and live a life of freedom and mental peace.

  17. Like the clown car of kids.

  18. Listen folks….
I'm no defender of people if they are wrong. But let's not say that purity, and homeschooling, and biblical courtship is wrong just because the way it was implemented by people and because of the sins of the individuals involved.

There are things commanded by God in the Bible that when they are implemented in a loving home with a good example of people who don't walk in sin, actually turn out for good for the children.

The world is so quick to desecrate concepts like courtship and purity in a dating relationship while they themselves sleep around with multiple partners or get their hearts broken and walk into depression and broken relationships.
(Not saying that this doesn't happen among professing Christians because it does but it's not because that they are true Christians but because they are walking in sin).

Sin is always the problem regardless of what you call yourself…. And the only remedy is Jesus Christ.

The Bible says what it says. You can either reject it or believe it.

(I know this comment will bring a lot of reaction, but at the end of the day you have to reckon with the truth yourself).

If you're going to Call out and condemn the sins of a family who did such things, Then make sure you are also calling out the very sins that are in your own heart.
(This is not a defense to the Duggar family at all because I am not a supporter of any sin regardless of what it is)… This is just a reality check for everybody that they will give an account to God for their own lives as well.

  19. The parents are such bullshitters – don’t want to hash things out in the media but happy to exploit their children for years on TLC 🤮 may they both rot in hell

  20. I always thought this family was insane. Not surprised.

  21. Jimbob Duggar needs investigated ….

  22. Jim Bob. The name sums it up.
    Wife… your hair is atrocious.
Don't know how I landed on this interview. But whomever these people are (I'm not sure. Thank God I don't watch programming like this) WTF!!!!!
A bunch of weirdos! Good luck to any of the kids that escape. Gross beyond.

  23. Jill was the last one I d expect to speak up…..given how toe the line her similar age sisters have been….but I m not surprised and I m glad she s doing well

  24. But yet they were willing to make money off of the children that’s a little bit hypocritical their response to it all
Mr. and Mrs. grandma and grandpa are cowards and running from their discretion

  25. God is soooo good!!! Whom the son sets Free; is truly free indeed😭😭😭😭

  26. Just look at poor brainwashed Anna staring like a Stepford at her insufferable, smug paedo husband.

  27. Amazing how their "religion" is a coverup for rhe most absolutely toxic abusive enviroment. Glad she can see it clearly now.

  28. TLC should be protecting the children in these situations. To keep greedy parents away, the income the show generates should be equally split among every single family member with the money going into a TRUST for minor children. Jim Bob Duggar is a greedy man.

  29. So far 2 of those girls have come forward and denounced their upbringing. I wonder if the others are too afraid or just too young. It amazes me that not ONE son has spoken out. I wonder if their wives are also considered “second class” in their own home.

  30. Jill is so well spoken. I feel for her but am happy she is doing the right thing for her and her family

  31. Anyone notice that these self proclaimed Christian families are often the most, like, corrupt?

  32. Greed and control is Jim Bob's World..how any father treat his victim daughters like this…he thinks he honours christ!

  33. It’s a cult and Jim Bob is an oppressor & abuser.

  34. Jill and Jinger are the epitome of graceful, powerful womanhood.

  35. Dethanarbareom2systersomärgiftärkoplsar

  36. It is interesting that some are upset with Jill and her husband for not obeying her parents, but mention NOTHING about her convicted pedo brother being in prison. Are you not disgusted that Josh molested girls including his own sisters!??

  37. This is so edited. You didn’t let them finish even one sentence. Lol

  38. I almost fell out of my chair when the interviewer said to Jill I didn't know that while you and your sister were giving that interview that Josh was sitting in the room watching !! WTF ? An incredibly difficult interview was made so much worse by not only Jim Bob telling them to lie they were also forced to sit their and look at their abuser while answering questions. That right there was vile Jim Bob is disgusting and shame on their mom for not protecting them or standing up for her girls… They will both have to answer for that when judged !!

  39. And now others are entertained by the nasty business.
    Vile pleases some?
    Disgusting.
    Go heal.
Stop making further profits from bad business.

Obey because you know you are loved. As a beloved child.
As an adult use free will well.
    Prudent
    Just
    Temperate
    Fortitude
Stop paying attention to the notorious.

  40. Strict!
    No.
    Disgusting depraved deceivers!
Imposing evil upon innocent children is wrong by any standards.

  41. Soooooooo you can agree to marriage but can’t understand a contract? 😂

  42. The fact that since she’s been living out of the home she is learning and more aware about her parents.Thank you for speaking out

  43. Jim Bob "Media isn't the place to resolve issues"
Also, Jim Bob, "Jessa and Jill you have to tell the media that you forgave your brother and everything is fine now."

  44. So if you procreate 19 kids or whatever, its outrageously expensive. Jim Bob and Michelle figured out that they could pay the bills by putting the kids on TV. I'm unsurprised that the parents didn't give the kids big paychecks without a fight. They needed the money to pay the bills. Pro tip—kids are expensive. No one should have that many. It's not sustainable.

  45. just listen to your parents and nothing bad happens. its okay to have Strict parents you know I thought Jill was tought but she a weark GEN Zer
