Thousands of auto workers are now on strike, after the UAW and the big three auto manufacturers failed to reach a new deal. President Biden announced today he is sending two top aides to Detroit to help with negotiations. NBC News’ Jesse Kirsch reports.

So, your striking, demanding an unrealistic 45% pay increase to stand in an assembly line and do un-skilled labor? Now lets think about this. The gov has let millions of unskilled laborers into the country. Are you putting 2 and 2 together yet? You're just going to be fired, and the migrants will take over your jobs for half what they were paying you in the first place. Good job.
So let me understand this logic. If automakers profits go up, the union expects a proportional share of those earnings. But, if they experience severe losses, can the company cut their pay? The union wants all the rewards and none of the risk.

These guys might want to take a look at what is happening in the automotive market. China is gonna put them out of business altogether. You can’t get paid what you don’t earn through producing competitive products.
What a joke, these workers are in state of the art plush and modern assembly lines using the latest automated tools and robotic accessories. They want 32 hour work week and nearly six figure salaries for low and moderate skill jobs while the average American is working 50+ hour weeks making half that. The average US marine only gets $45k to put their life on the line in horrible places. A roofer works in the hot sun all day pounding in nails and might make $40k a year. These UAW workers have a ridiculous sense of their worth for folks who mostly bolt parts together in nice working conditions.
President Joe is losing to the Republicans party in polls and in Texas Florida Arizona Nevada wants Sanders to run again but he not running because of the corrupt corporate media outlets hate Sanders and those states said they will not vote for Biden again and Joe Rogan endorsed senator Bernie Sanders but independents not allow to vote in some democratic primary states and now Joe Rogan said he would vote for the Republican party over President Joe and Joe Rogan has alot of independents watching his channel and putting a corporate hack on your channel

the higher wages (of some union members) goes to union dues (union org and union leaders who have inflated salaries). There are too many lazy and incompetent union members (& too many supervisors) even with government workers union; I would estimate at close to 40%!!! Union members get pay raises based on seniority, not on productivity!!! Replace them with foreign workers!

It has taken from the onset of the industrial revolution to now, the technological revolution, for company owners to start to not need workers anymore. Hint: Danger Will Robinson. The only job you might have thought you could do was to oil the robots, but guess what, they already have a robot to do that as well. What a mess, there is really screwing up, and there is this with mass unemployment looming on the horizon. This is our kid's inheritance from us. Why am I not happy and hi 5ing, I'm ashamed, that's why.
