A U.S. district judge in Texas ruled again that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is unlawful. Current Dreamers will be able to keep and renew their status but no new applications will be accepted. The Biden Administration is expected to appeal the ruling.

For those curious why, the reasoning used by this Judge will be decided upon by the Supreme Court. A Supreme Court that was just famously stacked by Mitch McConnel, and is now packed by Federalists that share a certain ideal on how the government should be run. It isn't difficult to see where this Supreme Court siding with the Judge's reasoning and, in doing so, creating a whole new clause within the Constitution.
Agencies empowered by Congress to enact their own policies will be forbidden….
So many agencies within the United States are formatted like that for a reason, the Gridlock within Congress would make it impossible for them to function otherwise. Just imagine what would happen to whole branches of our federal government when they are no longer able to make policy changes to deal with a new situation. That you, dear citizen, could end up having to wait for Congress to make a full law to deal with a natural disaster, technological change, or economical collapse….
DACA is illegal. Plus open borders hurt programs like DACA. Today the idea of DACA sounds insane because of how many people have come into our country.

The Fourteenth Amendment was Ratified three years after The Civil War ended. The “naturalized” people it refers to were those formerly enslaved. Today however, I feel the word “naturalized” can be used for Dreamers and DACA recipients. As defined on the U.S. Citizen and Immigration website,
“naturalization is the process to voluntarily become a U.S. citizen if you were born outside of the United States. In general, you may be eligible if you can show continuous U.S. residence for three to five years, are at least 18 years old, and demonstrate good moral character and loyalty to the U.S. Constitution.”
The strength of my argument is formed directly by the U.S. government’s words. Dreamers and DACA recipients are the children of immigrant parent brought here when they were very young. They grew up in this country and have resided here most of their lives. They went to American schools, where they took Civics and learned all about how we are a country built on the backs of immigrants. DACA recipients apply for financial aid and attend college just like other young Americans. Dreamers and DACA recipients aspire to take hold on their own American Dream in the future. If we hold the words written by the Department of Homeland Security to be true, then these young adults encompass all qualifications necessary to become a naturalized citizen of the United States.

No other country in the world grants citizenship based solely on the mother's entering of a country illegally. Why can't the United States be a sovereign nation like other countries?
