Laws alone are not the only thing at work here. People are very short sighted on this issue. Especially on the left. We've been so complacent for so long we lost sight of not just sbortion laws but also for nearly all reproductive services. Problems with medical care overall which also encompasses men's health. I don't know who we're kidding if we think men are safe from the tampering.
Failing to stop the spread of Catholic Hospitals is really where it all began. That is what we need to target if we want to solve this issue long term. If the Catholic doctrine is allowed to tamper with reproductive care whats stopping them from saying they don't believe in flu shots, x-rays, blood tests, CT scans, sterilization, anesthetics, ect. and banning each one or more as they please??????

"The unborn" are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike orphans, they don't need money, education, or childcare; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. It's almost as if, by being born, they have died to you. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners, immigrants, the sick, the poor, widows, orphans. All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible, they all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.

That law is archaic. " Any person other than the mother do destroy the life of an unborn child." So the mother has the right to destroy her own child? In what way? An abortion? What about a doctor on the mother's behalf? That law is too vague and ambiguous to even be on the books. They need to strike that whole law down and write a whole new law starting from scratch.
