Stopped watching this show a good five years ago because of Chuck’s tendency to hand wash apples and oranges issues with a professional demeanor that belied the curious fact that the citrus du jour invariably ended the show with an extra coat of wax. Enter the new host… And what an entrance! I had never heard of her before yesterday which puts me in the clear majority, yet barely 24 hours after her grand premiere, everyone on the planet from Portland to Christchurch via Brussels, Cape Town and Kathmandu knows her name. What a move… while I’m typing this the jury is still out on whether she is already as infamous as Ginny Thomas or even Elon Musk but one thing is clear: the new host of Meet The exPres can obviously “sell herself” 😏
I watched MTP for 40 years, and now I'm done. This woman is pure acid if you're not of NBC's political view. Oh, for the days of Tim Russert. I'd hope that his son would be in the chair eventually, but not yet. A travesty of political broadcasts from now on.
