So what kind of therapist is he to put a 12 year old through that by doing a juvenile stunt like that? That's mind boggling! The 12 yr old seems more mature than the adult….but glad everything worked out well and he saved him. We wouldn't want him to be traumatized if things had not turned out well.

Please take a CPR class if you’re 12 years old or older. And call 9-1-1 immediately if you’re alone before starting CPR.

Good save. Don't do hold your breath contests. I don't think I even did them when I played water polo years back, though everyone develops decent lung capacity from just normal swimming practice. Silly thing to do, but big consequences if you don't have people around that can drag you out quickly and safely.
