So the funding for Ukraine is in the Defence Bill…WHY???? It should be a separate one.
First, stop trying to scare the public with this shutdown garbage. The govt has been "shut down" before and somehow seemed to operate quite well, because "shutdown" doesn't mean shutdown; it means temporary suspension of certain activities. I applaud those Republican Congressmen (and certain Senators) for being a PIA. Billions to Ukraine (which BTW, in case you forgot, is NOT a US state) while millions of illegals are crossing our open borders, is total insanity. As Sen Paul so eloquently put it, we're borrowing money we don't have, from China, to send to Ukraine. How about allocating a special appropriation to Texas to pay for their state Nat'l Guard, Texas Rangers and state and local police, so that they can be deployed to the border to do the job that the Feds refuse to do? We're fed up with Neocons, RINOs and members of the Uniparaty, who consistently debase our currency, inflate our national debt, and refuse to cut one penny in spending. Shutdown?! Sounds like a great idea to me
You have to remember that the GOP extremists don't believe in the federal government. But as you can see they have no trouble taking their federal paychecks (which they will still get during the shutdown).
