  5. This felt more like another press conference than a cozy podcast. Of course, they asked some interesting questions and tried their best to make Mitch comfortable, but a podcast these days has to be more like a conversation with the guest. And you can always ask him stuff unrelated to the World Cup

  6. I wonder if they'll name a vice-captain for Mitch

  7. Everyone who’s met or played with him reckons he’s a legend. I’m happy to rely on them rather than randoms who’ve never played a game ripping on him.

  8. My favourite Mitch Marsh..

  9. No. 4 position in australian batting order will be very crucial & decisive in this year WC..Bailey & Macdonald thinks M. marsh can cover that position because of his performances in t20is..But the fact is while playing at middle order Marsh has scored only 244 runs in his last 15 ODIs at an average of just 16.26 (didn't include those matches where he batted as an opener)..Meanwhile as an opener he has scored 269 runs in 5 matches at an average of 53.8..Clearly, Marsh is a hard-hitter batsman, he always wants to play big shot in every ball which is very risky for ODIs because ODI is different from T20I..You need some patience here & marsh is impatience for his big hitting nature..You need balanced & skillful players in at 3 & 4 in ODI who can rotate the strike and handle an aggressive bowling attack so that even if you lose first 2 wickets very quickly in a match then they can rebuild the innings from there..But if you choose a hard-hitter batsman in at 3 or 4 then you can lose more wickets very quickly..Let me remind you something here: before 2019 WC Langer decided to play Maxwell in at 4 in both ODIs & T20Is, since then he lost his rhythm with bat..Everyone knows Maxwell was a world class aggressive batsman, but where is his form now?? My point is Aggressive batsman like Marsh & Maxwell should never bat at 3 or 4..They should either bat as an opener or as an finisher (in at 5/6)..If you play Marsh as an opener then he can score lots of runs in the powerplay which will put your opponents under massive pressure, if you play him in at 5/6 then he can smash opponent bowlers in last 10 or 12 overs which will give you a big finish especially when maxwell is out of form you need a big hitter like marsh as a finisher..But if you decide to play him in at 4 in ODIs then he can get out very quickly because of trying to play big shot in every ball which can lead to a collapse down of the batting order especially when your wicket keeper batsman is out of form & none of your all-rounders are reliable batsmen (Green, Stoinis, Maxwell)..

  10. Get rid of Green in all three formats. He hasn't been performing. He finished Ashes with an average of 19 with bat.

  11. I am sincerely grateful for the dedication you put into your work!πŸ‘€
