The Attorney General is part of the Executive Branch of the Government of the United States. However, if it is not administering justice fairly, the House of Representatives and the Senate have a duty to investigate the Attorney General, and impeach him or her if he or she is biased in decision-making.
Personally, I feel that the position needs to be abolished because it gives the President too much power.
