First and foremost, we are proponents of human rights. With that being said we also see this as a bad idea from so many perspectives. Also, let's note that it's pretty obvious that the asylums and other humanitarian gestures are offered on a "selective" basis with ethnicity being a predominant driver in that decision making process. At the end of the day where does that leave Americans? Those of us who have been here most of our lives and who have help to build this economy, this country we call home. How is it possible for us to spend resources on others while neglecting our own? We have cities in this country that are crumbling right before our very eyes with no help in sight, yet we are able to find resources to assist 11 million immigrants 😮. Baffling at best!! Its like the neglected step child verses the Johnny come lately. Ultimately, these entities will come here, work and send US dollars back to their countries while Americans continue suffering. An alternative: why not reverse the process? Instead of spending US dollars to house, feed and provide employment to our immigrant brothers and sisters, why not send some of our best and brightest to their countries to help rebuild their infrastructure and economies directly? Why not invest US dollars for US citizens to do that?🎉
