Elon Musk is debating bringing another big change to X, formerly Twitter: Charging all users a monthly fee.

In an interview Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Musk, the owner of X, said he was considering charging “a small monthly payment” to all users in what he said was an effort to “combat vast armies of bots” proliferating the website.

Musk said X will come out with a “lower-tier pricing” than the existing cost for current X premium subscribers. He did not specify what the pricing could be.

  1. As long as it burns down and destroys twitter im all for it.

  2. I know Musk is watching ths. I have to pay a sub to wipe my ass. Now i need one to talk? NO! Love you brow, but I don't make money, I make mistakes.

  3. This is the worst decision ever made.

  4. I’m fairly certain the moment he makes a fee to access Twitter/X is the moment the app dies. Not nearly enough people will be dumb enough to pay for an app that has garnered so much bad faith. People may be stupid, but they’re stupid on a budget.

  5. It will be bots and maga left after he implements the change. There’s hundreds of ways to prove you’re a human for free. Don’t believe this pathological liar.

  6. I love it. If you have million subscriptions, oh hey, isn't it a cool thing, subscribe pay. Even if it was a dollar, million subscriptions will be one million dollar. I worked in sales all my life, so America stands for business development. So many good business styles that businesses have benefited from. Let's not forget MBA is now a career.

  7. I would just deactivate my account.

  8. It's not long until I leave "X".

  9. He has a bigger plan for the app, trust me. He is planning something big and one day everyone will be shocked and say “we never saw it coming”. Good luck to you all.

  10. Don’t worry. It will remain free for anyone in the FSB and Kremlin.

  11. He’s hilariously dumb and people thought he was a genius 🤣🤣🤣

  12. If Elon is stupid enough to make it automatically start charging users for this without notification or consent he will be handling quite a few lawsuits in the future.

  13. Hey! How bout a AI Bot talk show skies the limit Educational and life changing knowledge!! 1st A¡ teach & learn show

  14. Reading the comments section, this will get rid of all the cheap skate juveniles and their equally worthless juvenile comments. Love what Elon is doing. I can't wait for all his new features to come out. If a person can't afford pennies, then they are admitting their comments are worthless. 😂👍👍👍👍👏👏👏

  15. This solution is questionable. In my admittedly short experience with Twitter (less than three years) it seems to me that bots only became a major problem after Elon's takeover. 🤨

  16. Twitter’s finally dying soon 🎉🎉🎉

  17. Elon will be the man that takes humanity to mars and the man to kill the parasite known as twitter

  18. I have a son who can draw any kind of sportscar

  19. I cant wait for the alien to finish breaking out of his chest.

  20. Your personality shines through in every video.

  21. Is SARAH inside the smoking ban area or at home 😅 all I know is I'm in Puerto Rico and not at Eugene Oregon right now and no magazine in camuy 😂

  22. Musk is a psycho filter. He pays people to tell him stuff, then he selects only the ones that he believes makes him look good and disregards the rest. You actually think he comes up with things on his own? The more he relies on this type of behavior, the more erratic this guy explodes into anger when the script deviates into territory he is not ready to answer. You only need to look into talk show style events when people ask him stuff that are not difficult questions to answer, and his responses are rather childish and avoid the honest response of I don't know. His biggest fear is not being able to respond to an obvious question that a competent person in a profession can respond with something useful, because once you remember that incident, you absolutely know who he is and that most of the time he is out of his league. His wheel house is the same as Trump in that these guys are salesmen and marketing hopefuls trying to develop the bullshit dexterity aura. If they actually have an asset that is useful, that is where their strength lies.
