Thousands of homes and businesses lose power after Ophelia’s heavy rainfall



Thousands of homes and businesses lost power across North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey after Tropical Storm Ophelia brought heavy rain to the region. The storm has since weakened to a post-tropical cyclone. NBC News’ Antonia Hylton has the latest.

  4. It's the rain that is the issue with a Tropical Storm. We on the Gulf Coast deal with 35 mph winds with a typical thunderstorm. People 35 mph winds is nothing.
