Senator Bob Menendez is back on Capitol Hill where he faces questions about criminal charges and a growing list of his Democratic colleagues calling on him to resign. Menendez tells NBC Newsβ Ryan Nobles he wonβt step down because he is innocent. Meanwhile, the federal government is just four days away from a potential shutdown. 6 Million people in 2 years. The year 2019 there were 14 million illegal immigrants. In 2010 12 million were in the U.S. In 2000 28.4 million were in the U.S. Many are now legal American citizens! A government shutdown is a criminal act. An act of rebellion! You cant criminalize the immigration system, which is a government program, that was formed by the founding fathers. President Joe Biden did not crate the immigration system. Border security, immigration, and crime are separate issues. We are surrounded by an ocean. Only 3 states border Mexico. The executive and judicial branch of government has constitutional power to prevent any damage from an act of rebellion of Congress!
