  1. If it was not for teachers holding on for their pensions, this problem would be way worse.

  2. And I thought public "education" was bad when I was forced to endure it in the 1970s!

  3. EVERYBODY QUIT!

Stand your ground and know your worth!!!

  4. There are so many out of control kids and many can’t do the assignments given. 😢 Kids have to be able to read.

  5. I like the part of paying the Veteran teachers more to retain experience. In my district they just raised the starting salary of a new teacher without a masters degree very high to attract new blood yet with a masters degree I just make about $12,000 more after 26 years. Retirement pay is a joke. None of us do this to become rich but we still need to buy a home (not large) and pay for our kids to attend university. We need a GI Bill for teachers. Maybe pay for the university education of those who complete ten years as a teacher in public school, reduced home loan for teachers, or pay for teacher's kids to attend community college for free or reduced rates at the state university. Get the admin out of the way and pay them less and give it back to the teachers. The admin does little to support the teacher as in discipline, and only counts test scores to look good. Parents must get involved and know what their kids are studying and how they behave. I have had many parents who could help their kids study in elementary school but are not involved. no teacher should have to be cursed at, hit, slapped, bitten, or their property destroyed by kids who need to be sent home. Until things change, we have lost this generation.

  6. Ah…… the breaking down of the society in America. Whoever orchestrated all this has succeeded

  7. Teachers work an average of 180 days a year, if they want to get paid more the school administration should allow them to work more hours on the clock to cover lesson plans, grading tests, homework, extracurricular activities and reimbursements for supplies they buy for the classroom. However, no more tenure or teachers could switch to an hourly wage!

  8. Maybe its time to have our military come in and teach in our classrooms. Since the school committees & administrators are spineless. They make good money even in small towns and you never see or hear from them at all. Why theyre getting so much money is beyond me. The supers dont back up the employees teachers or drivers so why do we need them?? Get rid of these high paying positions and put that money into something thats needed for the schools.

  9. Teachers and bus drivers have had enough of these out of control kids that no one in the school system or at home that will discipline the kid's behavior on any level. Kids need structure, they need to know their behavior is unexceptable in all situations. We need the parents back up and the school administrators to back up these people on the job so kids can be transported SAFETLY and while in class can actually LEARN whats being taught without the disruption of a hand full of spankies wrecking the entire class or making riding the bus home from school a ride from hell. These kids should not be in charge of the situation but it seems no one has a back bone to tell them NO.
Even the safety officers in schools just walk by knowing nothing will be done. Its disgusting and no ones doing these kids any favors by not calling them out for bad behavior.
If your not in class to learn go home. If you cant behave on a 20 min ride home on a bus get another ride or walk home. Start doing those things and most will change their behavior.

  10. Parents don't trust the school system or the teachers anymore.

  11. In short, where the parents are concerned, "THEY'RE NOT".

  12. If you cant discipline students how are you supposed to control a class . You cant . Who would have thought ?

  13. Kids are not always innocent. If they get it in their minds that they are boss, God help ya. Gotta let them know who's in charge, even if that means telling them some nasty things like what you could do to make them miserable if they don't snap out of it.

  14. The real problem: the USA "Culture" disrespects learning…..kids who want to learn are ostracised and attacked. Remove the troublemakers and put them in training for manual jobs.

  15. I don't feel sorry for teachers at all!! Teaching LGBTQ values to our 5and 6 yr olds. They are purveyors of filth!

  16. The district and those in charge make all kinds of promises of implementation to parents or to make themselves look good; however, it is not them that does the work but the teachers. Teachers are the lowest on the Totem pole. They pass laws without thinking about the consequences or if it actually makes sense.

  17. Why would parents send their kids to school when their going to be labeled “terrorists?” I love teachers who do their job and keep their personal and political opinions to themselves. But again, why would parents send their kids to schools with some teachers who choose to indoctrinate them?

  18. I was going to suggest teachers band together and open private school(s). If parents want their kids to learn, they'll reinforce learning policy. If the don't, or want to make excuses for their kids, they can pull them out and go somewhere else. Government doesn't have our children's best interest in mind.

  19. It's simple — set up classrooms with live stream cameras. Allow the parents to see their kids and the teachers in action. Then, when kids act like animals in school, you slap their PARENTS with a disciplinary fine of…oh ..say.. $1500…maybe $2,500. Then, these crappy kids will start showing up at school with a whole new attitude!!!

  20. Replace all teachers with VR. Stop letting the mentally disturbed people be teachers or push that crap on any other people!! I know how to fix everything in our country and world. I've been showing people how, on Twitter and YouTube, for years. It's time to use what actually makes sense!!

  21. I would not trust teachers to educate my grandkid, they are too indoctrinated. Break up the corrupt union

  22. Cops have body cams.
Teachers should have them too, or at least install cameras in classrooms so parents can see what's getting taught.

  23. The teachers unions need to be REMOVED and the "leaders" of these need to be put in PRISON! They have FAILED not only the children but also the parents of this country

  24. We had a good run America xD

  25. Wow. Took her 30 years to quit. She waited because of the retirement benefits . That’s crazy, I was gone after 10 years of dealing with those little uncivilized bastards. You can’t teach them because the vast majority have developmental issues.

Extra pay wouldn’t keep me. My health is worth more than the money. Teaching is draining. What’s wrong with working people? Why don’t they value themselves?

  26. I am a sub teacher who left due to disclipline problems. I'm going back as I have some debt, but I am NOT looking forward to it. Going to pay my vet bill and stay out of the Sh*t show that public school has become. Dedicated teachers cannot do this without supportive parents. Pull your kids from public school if possible. It's a nightmare.

  27. My friend got stabbed with scissors last week. He teaches second grade

  28. This World is Nuts! God We love You and we Repent for removing The Great I AM from this world. Please Help Us, Amen!

  29. This mirrors the decline in our entire society. The creation of the nanny state and not being able to discipline children has been a disaster.
