I'd argue the north's military parades are orders of magnitude more impressive. Fortunately the amount of goosestepping does not decide the outcome of an actual armed conflict.
I'll tell you the truth
This time, South Korea showed very little military power.
In fact, Korea's military power is a military power that can win even if it fights all of Europe and NATO, excluding the United States and nuclear weapons.
I don't get this idea that nuclear bombs are so hard to make. Only thing I could imagine would be a lack of radioactive resources. The older I get the more I think that nuclear bombs and the fallout thereafter are exaggerated in their severity, and it makes complete sense that the superpowers of the world would want the common notion, to be that if fear and hysteria. There is that guy who used to eat uranium, whom I didn't discover until recently.
East Asia is intensifying its armaments to confuse the United States. When it wakes up, the whole of East Asia may declare war on Europe and the United States. Now is the time when European and American armaments are at their weakest.

The Asia Pacific looks like it can blow up any day. With the rising of China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan are building up their forces. Also, you have India, which is the natural enemy of China. On top of that, you have the US and Australia observing the area. Also, you have Russia and North Korea. Given the state of Russia, I can see them eventually losing their Asian territories. The Asian Pacific is basically Europe prior to WW1.
I think it would have been a better parade if they drove trucks full of food to hand out to people and bouquets of flowers.
Compare to North Korea parade, this South Korea parade is so-so, not so bad…๐

Was interesting to see the US Military contingent out of step …. cut here, but the live footage was telling.
I'm korean. I don't feel good about this parade. Every shows have its intention. What is the benefit and intention with this? There'll be no such 'parade thing' if we 'already know' we are strong, peaceful, and happy.
It's worrying that North Korea parades seem to be double the size of this one.
They are good at parade not in combat.
South Korea doesnโt need to do a military parade, thatโs only for authoritarian countries like Russia, China and North Korea because their leaders are insecure; Confidence is silent, insecurities are loud.

It's funny how in that clip you could tell exactly which were the U.S troops by the way they marched down the street.
sometimes we had fought each other and so i had hated our government, but i'm very proud of my country for this time. we started from nothing and just 60 years we made it. i think its just, literally, 'the miracle of han river'.
There's nothing that says that we are an independent sovereign nation than having foreign soldiers in your military parade.
Every Korean male serves in the military therefore when they immigrate to the USA, they already know how to handle weapons.

I have an incredibly long list of reasons why I hate Trump, but the one thing I would like to have seen more of that Trump talked that no other president that I'm aware of didโฆ Military parades in America. UNDERSTANDING it's a weird flex… I think it could improve our feelings towards them.

They are doing this out of insecurity. They know that if Trump if reelected that he is planning to pull troops out of South Korea. Probably a plan prearranged with his pen pal Kim Jong Un.

genuinely curious, why do they have napoleonic grenadiers/uniforms? i understand where in countries like the philippines they were a spanish colony even before the 1800s so i get theres some history into their uniforms but im just curious why korea why have them
