I'm confused as to why all Democrats aren't changing their registered party to Republican long enough to vote in the primaries for the few Republicans candidates that have some integrity. It's a death knell for the Republican party and for Democracy to have Trump on the ballot again. I'm an Independent and I firmly believe we need at least two or more functional parties in this country if U.S. Democracy has a chance of surviving.
The Republicans are in trouble. They are overreaching with bogus impeachments and government shutdowns. The American people will punish them at the polls next November.
Michael Gerhardt, an obvious Democrat, was the fourth and only witness at today's impeachment inquiry brought in by the Democrats to defend Biden and he failed miserably. He exposed himself as yet another Biden puppet.
What this sounds like is a repeat of Trump's stolen election proof. The proof was promised again and again, ad nausium, but when it finally came down to presenting it to a federal judge in a federal court, nothing was presented as actual proof. This is why too many lawyers use the word allegedly to describe possible crimes without proof. Its funny that we can tell when the media is on who's side simply by using the right terminology when they side with one or the other's possible guilt or innocence. Just like when Biden won the presidency, Trump's supporters insisted on the title President elect, now that Biden is President they label Trump as president instead of ex-president which is what he is. Trump is extorting people on a national scale through their fear and intimidation and no one is holding Trump accountable. Even Romney mentioned it in his book when his political allies asked him about Trump going after his family and friends and he acknowledged their concerns but the one thing that he didn't do was take him to court for the threat that Trump posed to his family or friends. People in the media are afraid of Trump, saying Trump is dangerous, Trump has even said that he's funded some of the militia groups. At least the Jan 6th committee presented evidence as to why Trump should definitely be impeached. This impeachment inquiry falls short in facts, integrity, honor, patriotism and the basic understanding of guilt. Want to know the truth, require them to take it before a federal judge. The House has become an unreliable house of idiots chaired by a ball-less chicken. Cassidy Hutchinson had more courage that McCarthy ever did with his jello spine and all. She presented facts that the Republicans cannot accept and back Trump at the same. How many of the Republican candidates are willing to violate their oaths to the Constitution and by extension every American citizen? They raised their hands when asked how many would pardon Trump if convicted? If we vote for these spineless wonders our democracy, Constitution and laws go out the window. Facts should matter.

Federman in my opinion is turning out to be a success story I like his positions and disposition. I don’t wanna lose a seat in the Senate because of him.I am split but my better angel will always win.
