AI teachers/mentors could be a solution to the shortage…I hear there's a non-woke version version of ChatGPT coming out. I like Vivek's plan to shut down the Department of Education which is the main source of the woke mind-virus., giving the saved money to the parents and securing the schools.

I think the elephant in the room is the fact that nobody wants to be a teacher anymore because of the responsibility it takes, to first get the education to become a teacher and then you don't get paid squat for that job. Then you get attacked by your students and parents for not teaching them anything, cause you don't know anything, because you don't get paid anything. Maybe pay the teacher's better and you might have better qualified ones educating our children. And THAT'S why my child will not go to a public school.

I'm unschooling/homeschooling my 4y old. She's as smart as current 6y old in public schools.
She's social. She's bright and has a great future. I don't have luxury of choice for her, but public schools. And from my experiences, public education killed the spirit of the individual, and if you don't mold, you're treated like trouble.
