I'm as excited as anyone else to one day have a woman president in the US, but Nikki Haley (like some of the other candidates) is condescending and divisive and doesn't seem at all interested in unifying her own party much less the nation so she's a no-vote for me, unfortunately.

I dont know why people still refer to important topics as "Kitchen table issues". Pretty much every home I visit has quite a spread on their tables, but none of it is food and plates. It's mostly mail, ads, boxes and whatever else. Might get cleared for the holidays to pretend that the family actually sits and eats there. If a family is really eating together, its at a restaurant, or in the family room with their supersized no. 2 from the nearest fast food joint, all of them staring at own piece of glowing glass. Kids get schooled by complete strangers from that glass since mom and dad dont want to do it. Can't imagine why children act the way they do these days.
