I'm not really sure what "base" Jim Jordan has to tap into. Speakerships happen as bare knuckle brawling "what have you ever done for me!" politics and Jim Jordan is the exact opposite of this type of guy. He's not in the least a fundraiser for the Republican Party as Kevin McCarthy was and in no way is he someone who speaks to any of the issues facing his Party such as the Border Crisis, working/not working with mega felon Trump, national security, energy policy. I don't at all agree with those who personally attack Jim Jordan's character or "nature of the guy" I think he's a great human being who wouldn't want Jim Jordan to be a parishioner in their Church! But this is World War 3 and the House of Representatives has to put forth spending bills that aim to save the United States from nuclear annihilation at the hands of Crazy KGB Colonel Putin and The Oligarchs. To my knowledge Jim Jordan has ZERO experience doing the bare minimum of budgetary matters…an ugly process even in the best of times this hardly now being the best of times the exact opposite of this be true.
Looking forward to how Kevin McCarthy who really could and DID do all of this and is still a very powerful Congressman from Southern California works with "whatever it is" that emerges from the Matt Goetz Florida Swamp Things of White Supremacy and other TAKERS from all of the PRODUCERS of Economy USA.
