Socialized medical care needs to happen within the next 5 years. Otherwise, medical care professionals will leave the field in droves. Start by paying doctors a fixed salary with no bonuses, maybe $250K per year maximum. Registered nurses would have fixed salaries too with maximum 24 hour work weeks. They're always on their feet, which is tough. The nurses would get paid $50K maximum. Other support staff would get between $32K and $40K, with reduced work shifts of 24 hours max per week. Nobody gets burned out, and this wage structure would be the same across the country. By having lower work hours, more people can be employed too. Medical costs for everyone would go down in every single state. Support the change to socialized medical care, and remember to vote in 2024.
Sometimes think having county insurance regardless of job that better than what hearing in all of it

At least the Kaiser strikers are qualified RN's and other qualified workers. My sister Jeanne who had 2 kinds of cancer was sent by Kaiser to a Kaiser recommended "home care" where none of the staff was trained or qualified to dispense pain meds to the dying. BTW Kaiser told my sister she had sciatica rather than give her the true diagnosis.Kaiser promised to send a physiotherapist to treat my sister's inability to walk.
Kaiser is an insurance company pretending to do healthcare. Profit for Kaiser is their bottomline…always. The dying are forced out of hospital.
