Israel has been continuously murdering palestinians and stealing their land for decades now. Not sure why it was a surprise that they decided to strike back to stop the genocide. There are no good actors in this conflict, just innocent victims.
For those who think Isreal's an oppressor state just ask yourself a few questions. Where are the Jews in the Middle East? What happened to Jews throughout Human history? How many enemies surround Israel and all went to war together to destroy the Jewish State? If you were living as a Jewish person who constantly has to look over your shoulder and fight for literal survival would you be worse than them? Looking at human history there are so many cultures who did worse that what Israel has ever done to the Palestinians. They could've went full Roman. Or Ottoman. Mongol. But they abide to democracy and it's the only state in the Middle East that respectful of women's right the rights of all individuals of diverse identities. And you want to destroy that? And replace that with a state like Hamas? There ain't no real legitimate government in Palestine except for these extremist hate groups that wants nothing but war.
