Good comeback win for India. Losing 3 wickets too early, but what a way to clinch the first game of the world cup, high quality of batting from Kohli and KL. After recovering from injury KL has been consistent at the middle order, it seems he worked much harder to deliver such an innings. On other hand, Kohli was superb. He has played many knocks under pressure for the team in past, like that this innings will also be remembered for a long time. It was a good toss to lose, as Kumble said, our bowlers did a great job to restrict the aussies under 200.

KL Rahul is playing like a legend. I was one of the people who was critical of his return to the Indian team but he has proved me wrong and how. He’s playing magnificently and I think he’s reached a new elite level after today’s game.
Need to drop iyer now because he cant score against fast bowlers. Rahul has been a bit lucky in last two months and can bat at 4. And surya can bat at 6 after pandya. And obviously Gill will replace kishan
At least someone is giving honest opinion. Because everywhere on social media they are talking about kohli and totally ignoring kl rahul’s contribution. Fact of the matter kohli was really struggling to stay on pitch and score runs, it was kl rahul who made it possible with his class batting. It is so shameful that we always do that, hyping even average performance of players like kohli and completely overshadowing exceptional performances of players like kl rahul.
Rahul KL has in fact shut all the critics since his return from Asia Cup. sometimes bad things happen and do good for a person, in this case the injury for KLR
