I am a black African. To see real pictures of dead infants and children, innocent young men and women in Gaza due to the indiscriminate and barbaric bombing of Israel in a conflict with the so called Hamas begs a lot of questions. As a militia, Hamas does not relate to the war crimes and atrocities that is associated with this large scale, indiscriminate act of criminality that I am seeing now. I have seen videos of young mothers kissing goodbye to their deceased infants that have been bombed and this has pierced my heart. Israel has blockaded Gaza and the innocent people alive, including those in need of critical care in hospitals do not have food and medicine supplies, no fuel for energy, no electricity and clean drinking water. Guys, does Israel and its western supporters seat in comfort for days and think this is a humane act? How do other western countries and some of their extremist citizens celebrate that this is a victory against Hamas? How shall the world judge you for these acts of war crimes? My heart bleeds. This only fuels permanent anger and division between the western world and the Global south. The scale of destruction to the innocent men, women and children of Palestinians is not an issue to smile or celebrate about, yet we see our colleagues and politicians claim this as victory, someday will come for you. It shall be the most painful days of your lives. I have that conviction and this shall come to pass.
