Based on some reports, they were also warned by Egypt and US about Hama’s activity but ignored it. When they were attacked by Hamas a week ago it took them up to 6 hours to react (reported by NY Times and NBC news). Israel is a tiny country with military stationed everywhere…odd it took so long to respond. Now, the Supreme Court issue has been swept under the rug, they have a reason to invade and destroy Gaza, push the Palestinians out and claim all the land for Israel. Nakba 2.0
I hope the gentiles work out their differences.

You folks who blame intel are a bunch of noobs. Intel and security aren’t there as foolproof solutions. Hamas started this and it’s not even Israel’s responsibility to begin with. No Intel or security can stop determined attackers, especially if they’re desperate. It may not go well for the attackers in the aftermath, but at least the breach has been made. Also, the guards at the wall towers were sniped and killed in a coordinated way, rendering the cameras and alarms “blind”. Just because you have the best intel organization doesn’t mean you’re invincible to these attacks. Blame Hamas and the despicable first attack instead of actually victim blaming the Israeli defence.
