If the clowns on that board don’t get it we do and support your effort to make them see that we need to expect more of our kids. and administrators. We want them to dress appropriately, behave appropriately and teachers and staff should lead by example.

y’all are doing entirely too much kids like to express themselves in many ways , no wearing crop tops that come up to the bottom of your chest is not okay but some kids don’t dress like that all the time let kids express themselves instead of wearing basic uniforms and having kids be miserable. This is a parent issue too they need to stop letting there kids walk out the house looking like that or see what they put on beforehand.

Dress codes disproportionately sanction girls. If boys and more disturbing make male staff distracted by what h.s. girls wear to school perhaps they should find another profession.

If you ask me teach your boys to pay attention to their own business and books. This isn’t a girl thing.
This has been proven scientifically at a study at Princeton university. When men see women not dressed modestly the front lobe of their brain actually shuts down completely and the only part of their brain that is lit up is the primal part of the brain. Making it extremely hard for young men to focus on education or school when the girls are dressed unmodestly

I was in high school in the 1970s. I think first year high school. When suddenly the dress codes were That completely thrown out. That is where appropriate blouses girls want to allow to wear pants.
That was ridiculous on the playground in elementary school. I remember having to wear dresses every day seventh eighth grade. High school started at night grade. And then of course, everybody was wearing the Popular clothes like sunny and chair. Bill bottoms low wasted pants with wide belts. And then the girls were wearing 10 tops that were more like beach tops. They went all the way down, but no bras cause. They had strange lace tie ups. But the guy's clothes were still pretty conservative. Even at that age, I was kind of shy but I thought some of the closing was a bit outrageous and then hot pants came in. Oh, my God, and then Mini scores. Which I had a couple short skirts. But I think the hot pants didn't belong in school. For the high school boys crazy and the teachers

Back in the day, schools in the UK make money off of school uniform, so you have to wear their uniform otherwise you don't go to school, and if you don't go to school the parents get fined. You had to wear your uniform correctly while in school too! Having one trouser tucked into a sock for fashion back then was a no no – you'd be sent home or get suspended! Boys always had to tuck in their shirts too…….we need to go back to the old days!!

I don't agree with using distractions or safety as a reason. What someone else wears does not excuse someone else's behaviour.
There should be a dress code so that all students experience dress codes which they may have in later careers.

I'm all for kids not dressing inappropriately… but honestly, spaghetti straps on a normal length shirt shouldn't be a distraction. They're shoulders!!

In a colonial mentality, clothing matters (kings, queens, prices, princesses, novelty ???). It should be the person inside those clithings that begets respect and NOT THE CLOTHINGS ! HOW AWFUL !!!😮😮😮
