The only path forward in my opinion that is not the complete destruction of one side or the other is the complete release of all hostages held in Gaza, while also having the populace of Gaza take power back into their own hands and remove the violent arm of Hamas, since Terrorism and violent acts of that nature are wrong no matter what, and give them up to the Israeli's Defense Force for prosecution for the war crimes committed against the Israeli people. In the same since though any war crimes committed against those in Gaza should then be equally punished. At this time then the two sides could come to the negotiating table again and attempt a two state solution with the change that I recommend Jordan and Egypt assist with the creation of the Palestinian state so that all three countries that border Palestine give a minor amount of land and assist in relocation to help in the creation of the Palestinian state if all their neighbors with different cultures and religions work together to help create the new Palestinian state the transition will probably go by smoother and safer for everyone I will add though that if the new Palestinian state was unable to police itself and fell into chaos under terrorism again then all 3 Countries Egypt, Jordan, and Israel would be tasked with restoring order together. no one country should have to do such a thing and checks and balances are required which is why there are 3 but terrorism should never be supported or allowed which should be added in the agreement. This is also more likely to be successful than just creating more bad blood between Palestine and Israel. We also need to stop focusing so much on the crimes of the past and look towards the future. If we point out every current civilizations/culture/religion's crime, we would be here forever. Just a theory.
