Jordan is never going to be Speaker of the House. Good. Can these fragmented Republicans ever elect a speaker without Democratic votes? I doubt it. Pretty pitiful for a party having even a slim majority. This was NOT a problem for Speaker Pelosi, who faced the same math. And no Democratic Congressman went on tv at the time to say that he and his family were receiving death threats. The GOP can blame everyone else all they want. The truth is that we've never had this kind of disfunction in the House before, ever, because we've never had a group of people like THEM in the House before. I expect them to lose the majority next year, and they deserve to. And you know what, the loudest among them won't care.

They need to tell him if he doesn’t testify about January 6 he is no longer a congress person. Hillary Clinton testified for over 11 hours and took it. Democrat after democrat testified when told to about what ever the republicans were up to at the time. Why won’t he do it. And this is the thing.
