Some 30 American citizens were murdered, and an untold number taken hostage. If Israel didn't have first call on going after the people who murdered some 1400 of their citizens, the U.S. should be making someone pay with deadly violence. Israel may be in a fight, but they shouldn't have to fight alone.
My worry is that the Biden administration will sail our aircraft carriers and other ships into the Eastern Mediterranean as a massive show of force, and then not do anything, out of fear of provoking someone. It would further weaken our national deterrence all over the world. To see Joe Biden as the "mumbler-in-chief", physically feeble, barely coherent, unable to respond without reading prepared comments off his ever present notecards, can only encourage and embolden enemies all around the world that now is their time to take advantage of his weakness and indecision. Russia, China, Iran and it's Hamas and Hezbollah affiliates, etc, are all on the move and acting because they know they can get away with it.
