  1. After 48 hours the shrooms were long gone no trip lasts that long not buying his story maybe he also ate some twinkies πŸ˜…

  3. The pilot is part of an international satanic cult who believes you receive eternal life if you sacrifice your the devil. His claims about mushrooms is bs he’s forced to use as an excuse to avoid getting assasinated by the cult.

  4. Bogus. No excuse for that

  5. Bei g yo for 40hoyrs on. Shrooms is. Bogus. Excuse. Many. Freinds . And I have. Been. Up 10 times as long while on . Shrooms and never once. Did we do some stupid. Crap like that ever

  6. 40 hours no sleep, oh shut the hell up thats nothing! Military recruits usually dont sleep for three days or more, he was taking mushrooms omg what airline did he work for so i never fly with them!!

  7. Obviously the mental health care system in this country is beyond fixing

  8. Psycedellics are not for everyone. Its dangerous to try to treat your mental health problems with it when you dont know what your doing and esp when you dont understand yourself very well or how the drugs works. Theres always a chance of having a bad trip. This was a highly irresponsible thing to do.

  9. He must be a democrat contaminated with socialism, and has a irrational hatred for Donald Trump.

  10. The first time I took mushrooms I went to gay bar and had the time of my life

  11. Mushrooms don't last that long. I'm calling BS

  12. You cant blame mushrooms you took two days ago for doing something like this. He obviously had mental health issues and lack of sleep.

  13. I feel bad for this man. Yes he made a big mistake. But stuff like sgrooms mixed with depression sounds like hell. Especially for a first time user. Hope he gets the help he needs.

  14. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ You took shrooms and then went on a plane trip!!!??? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ What a trip brah. And now you plead not guilty!!!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Good shrooms I guess. Life destroyed from being stupid.

  15. The sadder the story the more chance of getting off. How's his dog doing?

  16. what a fool
he will lose his license to operate and go to priaon ita a damn shame!

  17. 83 counts of attempted murder is a little too much. The plane wouldve declared an emergency and wouldve perfectly landed at a nearby airport with minimal to no injuries. They are just appearing to be tough on him for the media and he will end up pleaing guilty to lesser charges.

  18. The scariest part is only six hours from this incident he was supposed to fly again.

  19. Did they learn nothing from 911?!
Only Flight Crew members should be allowed in the cockpit.

  20. Had this been a black pilot the comments would've been a little less sympathetic. Too many people feeling sorry for this loser who wanted to unalive nearly 100 people due to his "mental issues."

  21. Thank God he was not flying the plane

  22. Isn't California trying to legalize mushrooms? If so, maybe it's time to rethink that.

  23. My family flys from Indiana to Seattle frequently on Alaska airlines. Scary to think it could be one of your own on that flight.

  24. Several thousand future terrorists learned how to disable an airliner from media coverage of this incident

  25. The psychedelics from 48 hours ago were unlikely to be a factor in this, but the lack of sleep and other undiagnosed issues likely were. I dropped acid maybe 6-8 times total in 90s in college, and everything is good until it's not. Seeing wavy lights and objects with hazy edges is cool when you're in the mood for it, but isn't so much fun when you decide you want it to end- but have hours to go before it wears off. I had one "bad trip" – which looking back was more anxiety induced than anything (undiagnosed at that time and barely heard of in 1992), but I don't recommend messing around with psychedelics in any form. That was the last time I did it. It was a long 3-4 hours of paranoia, mostly due to the fact that I concerned the effects of the drug might get stronger. Thankfully, they did not, and I had some good dorm mates that kept me calm and grounded until things finally chilled out/wore off. Oh, and I don't know about the mushroom variety, but I do remember being unable to sleep after many hours after coming down from blotter acid.

  26. Nut case: I'm not OK.
    (Turns off engines)
Everyone else: Now none of us is ok.

  27. Don't blame the mushrooms lol idiot. Lock him up for life

  28. Sick and selfish human being.

  29. Some ppl and I dropped each other as friends when I refused to do mushrooms with them. I had no experience with them and no idea how I would react to them, plus I was recovering from a medical condition and did not like the idea of such things. Later on discovered after full allergen testing that I am allergic to mushrooms/fungi anyway. I was also hesitant about how some of the acquaintances in our company would behave under the influence. They didn’t seem stable or reliable. Who knows what they might have mixed theirs with.
It was not a clever thing to do for the pilot to take them at all, particularly knowing it was to be his first time and how delicate the circumstances were… ☣️

Even if it was a lapse in judgement without chemical influence, even without intention to harm others, his actions endangered everyone and they need to make an example of him so it doesn’t happen again, or at least less likely to happen again. Also assign him and others who need it adequate help.

  30. Lost his freedom and career in a blink of an eye

  31. I believe he is truly hurt by this incident on what could have happened. You have to really take his years of good into consideration and the world we live in and evil ways people take part in.βš”οΈπŸ€his remorse is real.
