“America’s Top Young Scientist” is a 14-year-old who invented a soap that treats skin cancer.
Heman Bekele, a ninth grader from Annandale, Virginia, won the prestigious award from 3M and Discovery Education, considered one of the country’s top middle school science competitions.

It contains salicylic acid, glycolic acid, tretinoin, honey, coconut oil, and shea butter. All of which are skin care products, some for acne. That's like if I took Dawn detergent and mixed it with vinegar and said I invented a new cleaning product.

Props to this young man. Nothing but respect. Sadly, I’m a sceptic, let’s see who buys it from him and let’s see how much inflation goes into that $.50 before it reaches the world’s masses.
