Many dwellings/buildings were destroyed because the Mexican government doesn’t care if the builders follow proper guidelines for dwellings/buildings resist strong hurricane winds. It’s obvious that the Mexican government doesn’t care. I’m sure that the members of the cartel who have a strong hold in Acapulco, I’m sure their homes are built to withstand strong winds/hurricanes. It’s always the poor people that suffer.
