The airstrikes don’t differentiate between Women, man,child, adult, Muslim, or Christian, they’re all under the rubble. This is what the government of Gaza/Hamas wanted to achieve when it began bombing Israel and these are the scenes they wanted to create when the Gaza government/Hamas invaded Israel and killed and kidnapped those Israeli civilians.
They knew Israel would have to retaliate.
Gaza knew it could not defeat Israel militarily so the attacks are just to provoke Israel.
Gaza's goal is to Garner international support and condemnation of Israel.
Scenes with Dead Palestinian civilians were the way to achieve that.
And the Gaza government/Hamas has achieved that. An astounding success.
Over the dead bodies of Palestinian civilians unfortunately but that is the price they are willing to pay.
By the way few people know that The Gaza government/Hamas has built ZERO bomb shelters for civilians despite building 500 kilometers of tunnels and bunkers for their fighters and to keep their tens of thousands of rockets and weapons safe. A massive underground infrastructure so well built Israel has to use bunker busting bombs to reach them. And they are built right under civilian areas and buildings.
But not for Palestinian civilians. No shelters for them.
And no air raid warning system either.
They have to wait in the open. That's why so many congregate at hospitals, mosques and churches.
If Israel does not retaliate because they don't want collateral damage,Gaza government wins
If Israel retaliates and civilians died, that is an even greater win because they achieve international support.

For everyone asking “why are there still people there?” Palestinians can’t leave Gaza because Israel won’t let civilians evacuate into Israel and the Egypt border crossing is repeatedly bombed by Israeli air strikes, causing it to shut down for days at a time. The only airport in Gaza was bombed by Israel. They can’t escape by boat because the Israeli navy has a blockade that won’t let any boats through, even civilian ones.
Also, Palestinians who managed to evacuate to the south (where they were told to evacuate to by Israel) still got bombed and killed by Israeli air strikes anyway.
The size of the Gaza Strip is 25 miles north to south and 5 miles east to west. About the square mile size of the city of Las Vegas.
The whole world rightfully condemned Hamas for their war crimes, but the U.S. and European countries won’t condemn Israel’s very obvious war crimes (bombing schools, Mosques, churches, hospitals, ambulances, civilian escape routes. Collective punishment of an entire population by cutting off their food, water, medical supplies and electricity) That’s the double standard everyone is mad about.
