  1. Damn you Americans are so weak!!

  2. We all will die. We all deny it. This guy embraced it.

  3. The sad reality is that the FAA is still in the dark ages when it comes to mental health–so much so that pilots cannot seek treatment or therapy when they desperately need it without loosing their medical, their job, and their livelihood with only a slight hope of getting it back if they are prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars and years of testing to get their medical back. So, instead pilots feel forced to hide and smother their mental health until they hit their absolute breaking point, often ending in suicide or severe alcohol or substance abuse. This SO desperately needs to change and the world needs to know it.

  4. The mushrooms didn’t have anything to do with this not 48 hours after The effects only last 6 at most

  5. This is too stupid to be believable

  6. Regardless of how tight he may try to tug on the sympathies of the ignorant as an excuse for what he has done, every issue he pointed to was done at his choice. He is himself a pilot and as such a 'TRAINED' professional who should have known better than to put himself into that scenario. Nope sorry, you did the crime now man up and do the time. Get some professional psychiatric help while your doing that time!!

  7. Give me a break. He did mushroom 48 hours before and blaming that. Come on. What a blatant lie of an excuse.

  8. WHAT A LOSER

    HE SHOULD BE IN PRISON

  9. I think he should still be held accountable. I mean who in his normal mind would take such psychedelic mushroom "before" riding the plane knowing it's adverse effects??? He probably planned it and truly intended the adverse consequences of taking the mushroom.

  10. I struggle with depression and never have I once thought about mass murder. Stop using mental illness as an excuse. He had a bad trip on the mushrooms.

  11. He needs psychiatric help, not prison.

  12. Such a sympathetic public response ..what a privilege

  13. Yep definitely looks like a domestic terrorist, what a load of bull saying he was having a “breakdown”. Throw the book at this lunatic

  14. Shrooms are only safe at home, with a sober friend to look out for you
