The U.S. conducted two airstrikes in Northeastern Syria overnight and, according to the Pentagon, hit buildings housing weapons and ammunition used by Iranian-backed militia groups. The Pentagon says the militia groups launched another drone attack on a base with Americans in Iraq. NBC News’ Courtney Kube reports.

If you ask me, Hamas was pretty stupid for attacking the Jews, in the first place. They don't even have a military. The Jewish motto since WW2 has been "Never Again." The Israelis ALWAYS hit back and hit back harder. Then again, it might well be that Hamas planned to cause so many deaths and injuries in Israel during their first attack that Israel would come at them hammer and tongs just to create even more instability in the region.
