Hundreds of law enforcement agents were scouring communities around Lewiston, Maine, on Thursday for a person of interest in connection with two shootings at a bowling alley and bar that killed at least 16 people and left terrified residents huddled in homes.

School districts canceled classes and authorities warned residents of in and around Lewiston to stay inside and lock their doors as investigators launched a massive search for Robert Card, 40, who police identified as a person of interest in the Wednesday rampage. Card was considered “armed and dangerous,” police said.

Just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, Lewiston police said that they were dealing with an active shooter incident at Schemengees Bar and Grille and Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley, in Lewiston, a city of about 38,400 residents about 35 miles north of Portland and about 33 miles southwest of Augusta.

  4. I mean, Maine has the lowest violent crime state in the US, so this is very out of place

  5. The right to own weapons is the real reason behind this tradegy and it is impossible to reverse this law. If only this law didn't exist the US would be heaven on earth

  6. Why do cops always know these sickos before they commit mass murder?

  7. Nope… It’s not…

We ❤️ love our guns… MORE THAN “human life”….
So… “enter” America the Beautiful, the Delusional… at your own risk…

    😒

  8. 😢 Praying for families and friends of the victims and injured!

  9. So he's an Iraq war veteran and a gun instructor with mental health issues, right? That's what other channels are throwing out there. He will not be easy to find if this is the case. The guy is a trained soldier and a war survivor. I hope he comes forward and do the right thing and turn himself in. The government needs to take better care of these war vets they are timing bombs.

  10. Looks like the only thing that we can hear clearly with any volume,is the media cameras clicking! WHY???

  11. Horrible news, my thoughts are with the ppl in Lewiston

  12. They 'll talk us to death

  13. New broadcasters should show the person doing sign or have closed caption!

  14. Youth night at a Bowling Alley, heart breaking. So many prayers for the families that were directly affected. Even those who were not injured but in those locations, their PTSD will be tremendous and they will also need someone to talk too. I know what PTSD is first hand, and it is so real, even though you do not realize it until after the event that caused it.

  15. You can see the anguish in the Governors voice and face

  16. Why do these always feel like Oscar speeches?! Like stop thanking people, and just give facts. 30 minutes in, and finally the 4th person gives us information. It’s ridiculous

  17. This is what happens when you vote republican
