A “super fog” in Louisiana caused a multi-car pileup on I-55 near New Orleans after severely reducing visibility, police say. Gov. John Bel Edwards confirmed that there were fatalities in the crash, but did not say how many people were killed or injured.

Seen fog like this on the 40 in Oklahoma about 15 years ago. Went from hey look at that to zero visibility
People don't learn. I lived in Florida almost 50 years ago, and this happened then. In Michigan, folks drive wide open into a snowstorm. Human nature is the problem, not weather conditions.

Here is a solution : LED electric signs located above the highway notifying drivers would have saved this from happening. Get a clue. Save our drivers. 🙏
I find it interesting that officials all blame weather. How bout driving too fast for conditions. And do not want to hear the weather just changed. That is bs, if you cannot see into a whiteout or fog bank, slow down before you get into it if you cannot see ahead. If it is not bad you can always speed back up.
