Robert Card, a gunman who killed at least 18 and injured 13 more in Maine, has been found dead, police said.

Robert Card, the suspect in two shootings in which 18 people were killed and 13 injured in Lewiston, Maine, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Friday.
Card was wanted for the shootings at the Schemengees Bar and Grille and the Just-In-Time Recreation bowling alley Wednesday. He was found near the Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls at about 7:45 p.m., Maine Department of Public Safety Commissioner Mike Sauschuck said at a news briefing.
“The suspect in Wednesday night’s shootings has been located and is deceased,” the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook. Officials did not give an estimated time of death.
Hundreds of law enforcement officials conducted a massive manhunt for Card, 40, an Army reservist from Bowdoin, Maine. Thousands of residents of nearby towns were ordered to shelter in place during the search.
