  1. This is the problem with science communication today. Every news outlet just pushes attention grabbing fake headlines for views. They're never Interested in proven scientific research bc it's too boring or complicated for the masses.

He seems like a bright kid but all he did was make soap and add an already well known drug Imidazoquinoline into it.

    Source NPR:

"How did you test the efficacy of this soap and what are the next steps for you to continue the soap's development?

So for the most part, I've been sticking to digital molecular testing, which is a fairly new process of testing, where you can test different ingredients and combine different ingredients [in a computer model] and see what they do. When I did test it on digital models, I got really, really high numbers in terms of the efficiency of it."

  2. We must protect this young guy!! Congratulations

  3. Wow, that's awesome! ❤

  4. If his soap is rolled out on a mass scale in places like his home country then it could reduce skin cancer rates significantly in those countries by being a preventative measure that can also treat existing melanoma patches that are not too big! 🙂

  7. It's antiviral cream in soap form and has no tests done anywhere on its ability to fight skin cancer. Don't trust 14 year olds with no medical degree. it's essentialy pseudoscience at this point.
