Crews search for trapped worker after Kentucky coal plant collapses



One worker is dead and another is missing after a 100-foot shuttered coal plant collapsed in Kentucky. Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency as crews and cadaver dogs search for the trapped worker.ย

  2. Condolences to the families and hope they find the survivor alive. Not only are the coal mines a dangerous job, but so are coal preparation buildings about to be demolished.

  4. Cut to much of the main supports and the strong winds from this cold front. Plus the cold weather and the steel shrinks and becomes brittle. Prayers for all involved.
