Who is financing his political campaigns? He prays to God but to whom is he indebted to? American Colonists fled England to escape the abominable oppression of the Church of England that waged a war on everyone outside of the church. Property confiscation, murder, torture, rape, starvation all because people were of a different faith. Going to church is no guarantee of a person's character. More human beings have been killed in the name of religion than for any other reason and the wealth and property of those killed became the spoils of the victors. You can practice your faith freely but you shall not impose it on me. The herd mentality eventually leads to the slaughterhouse as so many Trump supporters found out after their insurrection. How many of them, has he visited in prison? How much of the money he has raised has gone to the families of the incarcerated? I wonder do they feel like suckers and losers.
This is about nothing more than stealing we the people's collective representative authority and tax revenue to empower and enrich political campaign contributors and himself. I have seen that smug smirk so many times throughout my life and they always bring about their own downfall pretending to be someone they are not. Oppressing and exploiting your fellow countrymen for you and your political campaign contributors aggrandizement is not the behavior of a man of God and neither is the smug little smirk.
